January Fun!!!

On Grandma Bailey's birthday we went shopping with her...
the strollers at RC Willey were such a hit.

While Chloe fell asleep at the mall, Kinley enjoyed her own carousel ride.

Kinley is OBSESSED with playing in my bathroom cupboard.
She goes straight for the lotion....
at least she smells good when I don't get there fast enough

Chloe loves having her cousin Drew over as much as possible.
They are becoming the best of friends.

Mommy and Chloe doing some shopping and trying out the newest trends

Once again the girls are doing each others hair.  They have become such the best of friends and I love it.  I hope that they will always be so close.

Moms photo shoot.
Chloe is turning three soon and Kinley is almost 19 months.  They are so different but so stinking cute.  They are my life and I can't imagine our lives without these two princesses.

I love how it starts with great smiles then fun kisses, sweet hugs and then straight to the wrestling on the ground (daddy taught them well:)) and then back to their fun peek-a-boo game and then their ballerina dancing.  These two keep me on my toes and there is never a dull moment.  I love you Chloe and Kinley!!

Christmas 2012

So many fun things going on during the holidays.  We were so happy to be with our families.  It was crazy to actually be living in Delta and not having to worry about driving home to Cedar City.  We started the holidays off with several visits to see Santa Clause.  We met up with all of the cousins in St. George and paid Santa a visit.

Got to love these girls... especially when Kinley puts her hands down her pants:)

All 6 granddaughters with Grandpa and Grandma

Christmas Eve

Santa came and visited Grandma Chris's house on Christmas Eve.
We also had a little "Cindy Lou Who" of our own.  This was at the end of the day when it's all falling out.  It turned out pretty cute!!

Playing Christmas games, and we lost:(

Kinley finding herself content like usual in the grandmas play corner

Kinley's turn with Santa.  She does so good with him, never once flinched

Chloe had so much fun playing games with us too.
I was surprised how well she could stack the cups!!

Girls got "nap mats" from Grandma and they were a hit.

Christmas Morning

I loved Chloe's facial expression when she woke up and saw what Santa brought her.  We had to wake them up so it took her a minute to think about what was going on.

The kitchen was quite a hit and same with the princesses and puzzles and more.  She didn't know where to start cause she was so excited.

The girls were so much fun.
I love being a parent during the holidays.... it's so fun to see your kids so excited!!

Grandma's house on Christmas Day!!

The girls loved their strollers they got from grandma and grandpa

Our cute little family!!
Our gingerbread house for the year.... such a fun tradition!!
Kinley being her mischievous self.... she's either hiding or just up to something.  She always has the cutest little smile on her face that's all I know:)
Sledding the day after with cousin Sienna
I couldn't believe how tough these girls are.  They literally had snow on their eyelashes.  The snow from the snowmobile kept pushing the snow to the girls.  They were such troopers!! They had so much fun and LOVE their cousin Sienna!!

Card Club
2009-2012

It's so crazy to think we've been doing this for this long.  This was when we started, just the six of us.  I was still working at the Dental Office with Julie and I didn't have any kids.  Thank goodness Nicole (President:)) let me and Julie stay in the group.... after-all we were about an hour late the first couple of weeks.  We didn't realize that it started at 6, we thought it was 7.... oh the good times and laughs!!

Then a couple years later we were bigger and still doing our monthly night with cards, crafts, food and fun!!!

And now it's sad because it's all come to an end for me now that we've moved back to Delta.  Oh how I miss these girls and nights.  Talk about some very talented, special girls that I'll  never forget.

This weekend we headed to St.George to see Santa.  The girls were so excited!!  Not only did we see Santa but they had a Live Nativity, Train Ride, Music and Camel Rides.  It was a great night of family fun!!

Chloe showing Santa how old she is....

Kinley's not sure what to think about Santa.... good thing we started early this year.
Maybe she'll warm up to him by Christmas.

We ran into some friends there and Chloe was super excited.
She loves her friends Kamree and Jeter and will miss them so much!!

I love the elf ears!!

Train ride around Tuachann

May the Holiday Season begin and everyone remember the true meaning of Christmas!!!

We're just "Hanging" out....
while we get ready TO MOVE TO DELTA!!

Well in a matter of just 4 days our lives have completely changed.  As bitter sweet as it is we know, it's for the good!!
Back in August/September Chase learned there was a job opening in the accounting department at a plant in Delta called Materion.  It is a plant that has been drilling beryllium or the last 30 years plus.  After filling out a application and sending in his resume he never really heard anything.  We received a letter about a month later that thanked Chase for his interest but they had others they were interviewing.  Chase didn't seem too disappointed.  From the beginning of applying he figured it was a position that wasn't within reach for him.  So when he received this letter he didn't think much of anything.
It was now the first weekend of November and we were getting ready to go to the Las Vegas air show.  It was a Friday and Chase received a phone call and they explained they still hadn't hired anyone and were doing a second round of interviews.  They wanted to interview Chase first thing that coming Monday morning in Delta and also a phone interview with corporate on Tuesday.  Chase definitely accepted and from that day our lives have changed.
The air show was fun but my mind was definitely going many directions.  He hadn't even had the interviews yet and my mind was thinking about all the "what if's."  Living in Delta with our family has come up in many conversations and we both hoped it would be an option someday for our family but never really knew if that opportunity would come.
Well Monday morning came and Chase felt pretty confident about his interview.  Tuesdays phone interview with the corporate office in Ohio went really well too.  They told Chase they would let him know by hopefully Thanksgiving which was a little over a week away.  It was only two hours after his phone interview that they called back and offered him the job and wanted him to start December 10.  I am still in shock with how those four days have changed our lives.
We know this move is for the good.  It's definitely bitter-sweet!!  We have truly grown to love Cedar City, our friends, our jobs and especially our gym- Crossfit Cedar City.
