SHOWING???

So friends & family that don't see me regularly are wondering if I am showing?? What do you say?? This picture was taken at 20 weeks, about 3 weeks ago. I am lucky that I get to be comfy & wear scrubs everyday.... but now they're getting tight?!? All I have to say is that I am happy I will be the biggest during winter & don't have to worry about the heat!! So do you think I am showing?? Keep in mind that was 3 weeks ago & my belly has definitely changed.

Labor Day/ Christensen Get-Together

This year we spent the weekend in Mesquite & St. George. On our way to Mesquite we stopped for the show, "Annie" at the Tuachan Theater. It was really good, I think Chase actually liked it too? Here is my Chaser enjoying his vacation in Mesquite at his parents. It's nice getting away to Mesquite even though it's not that far away, it's very relaxing & feels like a true vacation.

Here is me & Chaser at his Aunt Ann's house in St. George. They had a party for the big BYU football game. Once again Chase was the entertainment when it came to the pool. I love how he just makes everyone laugh & smile!!


Like I said it was a Christensen get-together the whole weekend. Here is a picture of a bunch of the cousins!!


Me & Chase going down the fun slide. It was actually really fun. Chase is definitely a kid at heart & always reminds me to relax & have fun! He is going to be the best dad, I just can't wait!!
This evening we went to another Tuachan show & saw "Foot Loose", it was another great production.

Puffer Lake 2009-

Of course I am late posting some of our latest outings. But better late than never, right? This year for our Smith family trip we went to Puffer Lake. Of course it was short like usual but worth every minute. Chase caught all of the fish & very proud of it! Couldn't believe how cold it was for the middle of summer but that's what you get when you're that high in elevation.


This next picture explains my husband very well. He is so easy-going & does whatever but at the same time he is so out-going, fun & exciting. I just love him so much!! Thanks Chase & the rest of my family for a fun trip!!

baby news

Well........ it's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that shocks everyone going off of our family genes. But that's our exciting news!! We're still deciding with a couple of names... I am so indecisive & that is not helping. Chase is so ready to go with paint and all & is getting a little impatient with me!! We're so excited for all of the fun things coming our way. More than anything we are just excited that our little princess is healthy & doing well.

New Baby Pictures!!!

Well, this appointment wasn't exactly planned if you notice by the time on the pictures... but we ended up with some cute Ultrasound pictures that confirmed that our baby was okay!! Not only were we confirmed with the heart beat but with the cute "I love you sign" & the cute pucker of the lips in the profile picture. Thanks Callie for our cute pictures!
I am now 16 weeks & still doing great! We will be finding out in the next couple of weeks if we are having a boy or a girl. I told Chase to plan on a girl where I have 8 neices & 1 nephew and Chase has 3 neices on his side. Anybody want to make a guess???

SURPRISE!!!!

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!




HERE'S THE ULTRASOUND OF WHEN I WAS ALMOST 9 WEEKS!! I WAS HOPING TO GET A MORE RECENT ONE TODAY AT OUR 2ND APPT, BUT WE DIDN'T SO THIS WILL HAVE TO WORK. I KNOW IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MUCH, BUT WHEN CHASE & I HEARD THE HEARTBEAT IT BROUGHT TEARS TO OUR EYES!!

IT'S BEEN HARD TO KEEP THIS SECRET. WE FOUND OUT WHEN I WAS ONLY 3 WEEKS & 6 DAYS!! CHASE WANTED TO TELL EVERYONE & I THOUGHT THERE IS NO WAY!! WHEN THE NURSE TOLD ME MY DUE DATE WAS JANUARY 30, 2010 NOT ONLY DID I THINK, THANKS FOR EMPHASIZING THE 2010 I WASN'T SURE.... BUT IT MADE ME REALIZE HOW FAR AWAY IT IS. BUT EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING ME IT GOES BY QUICKLY. NOW I AM 13 WEEKS & DOING AWESOME. I HAVEN'T BEEN THAT SICK JUST SMALL THINGS. I HAVE DEFINITELY BEEN BLESSED AS FAR AS THAT GOES. WE BOTH FEEL SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE A LITTLE ONE ON THE WAY!!

JULY!!**

Like everyone from Delta knows that is the place to be on the 4th of July! Delta has a great parade for all the kids and lots of activities throughout the whole day. This year we decided to pass on the Derby though.... playing games with the family just sounded like more fun!

The night before Chase & his best friend Luke played in a Tennis Tournament.

*This last weekend My mom and I met up with my cousin Elisa & Aunt Cathy in St. George for a day!!*

We first ate at one of my favorite restaurants.... RED LOBSTER!!! Then we decided to be tough in the heat & go do some shopping at the Outlet stores. Well after realizing it was a scorching 113 degrees we decided to head back to their grandparents & hang out with some family. Later on we went to Tuachan and saw ANNIE!!! We had a lot of fun. It might have been the wrong day as far as the heat goes ( it was still 100 degrees at 11:30 pm when the play got over), but it was worth it!! Thanks girls for making it a fun day!!
