New Baby Pictures!!!

Well, this appointment wasn't exactly planned if you notice by the time on the pictures... but we ended up with some cute Ultrasound pictures that confirmed that our baby was okay!! Not only were we confirmed with the heart beat but with the cute "I love you sign" & the cute pucker of the lips in the profile picture. Thanks Callie for our cute pictures!
I am now 16 weeks & still doing great! We will be finding out in the next couple of weeks if we are having a boy or a girl. I told Chase to plan on a girl where I have 8 neices & 1 nephew and Chase has 3 neices on his side. Anybody want to make a guess???

SURPRISE!!!!

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!




HERE'S THE ULTRASOUND OF WHEN I WAS ALMOST 9 WEEKS!! I WAS HOPING TO GET A MORE RECENT ONE TODAY AT OUR 2ND APPT, BUT WE DIDN'T SO THIS WILL HAVE TO WORK. I KNOW IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MUCH, BUT WHEN CHASE & I HEARD THE HEARTBEAT IT BROUGHT TEARS TO OUR EYES!!

IT'S BEEN HARD TO KEEP THIS SECRET. WE FOUND OUT WHEN I WAS ONLY 3 WEEKS & 6 DAYS!! CHASE WANTED TO TELL EVERYONE & I THOUGHT THERE IS NO WAY!! WHEN THE NURSE TOLD ME MY DUE DATE WAS JANUARY 30, 2010 NOT ONLY DID I THINK, THANKS FOR EMPHASIZING THE 2010 I WASN'T SURE.... BUT IT MADE ME REALIZE HOW FAR AWAY IT IS. BUT EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING ME IT GOES BY QUICKLY. NOW I AM 13 WEEKS & DOING AWESOME. I HAVEN'T BEEN THAT SICK JUST SMALL THINGS. I HAVE DEFINITELY BEEN BLESSED AS FAR AS THAT GOES. WE BOTH FEEL SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE A LITTLE ONE ON THE WAY!!

JULY!!**

Like everyone from Delta knows that is the place to be on the 4th of July! Delta has a great parade for all the kids and lots of activities throughout the whole day. This year we decided to pass on the Derby though.... playing games with the family just sounded like more fun!

*This last weekend My mom and I met up with my cousin Elisa & Aunt Cathy in St. George for a day!!*

We first ate at one of my favorite restaurants.... RED LOBSTER!!! Then we decided to be tough in the heat & go do some shopping at the Outlet stores. Well after realizing it was a scorching 113 degrees we decided to head back to their grandparents & hang out with some family. Later on we went to Tuachan and saw ANNIE!!! We had a lot of fun. It might have been the wrong day as far as the heat goes ( it was still 100 degrees at 11:30 pm when the play got over), but it was worth it!! Thanks girls for making it a fun day!!

Recap on the last couple of months!!

The Month of JUNE!! (my favorite month)

FIRST- Well the beginning of June is always kind of a hard time for me. This year was the 10 year anniversary since my dad passed away unexpectedly.
I saw on my friends blog how her brother passed away and she dedicated that day/post to him & that is what I'd like to do.
It's amazing how it just seems like yesterday, it's just so surreal still. It was the hardest day of mine and my family's life. Things are easier when you focus on the memories and that's what keeps us all going. My dad was a quiet but well-known & friendly man. You never wanted to make him mad, because of the feeling of his disappointment. He was well-known for his kind & serving heart to all those around him, but to us we remember his hands, smile & love! I am so happy that Chase was able to get to know him when we were in high school so he has some type of memories too!
My testimony for the gospel & Plan of Salvation has grown so much since this day and I am so truly grateful that I KNOW I will see him again! I love and miss you so much dad!!



SECOND- We Put in our front yard!!! I never realized how exciting that would be and the difference it would make!! We haven't got around to doing trees and plants but that is definitely on the agenda. The plan is to plant trees this month? I am just happy to have sprinkling, rock, curbing & sod!!

THIRD- The real reason why I love the month of June is because it is my BIRTHDAY!! On the 14th of June I turned 26, that's right the BIG 26!! My birthday was on a Sunday this year so that makes it a little harder to celebrate but my family, friends & hubby still did a good job!! I was surprised with a Garmin watch that I have been wanting to track my runs and all that cool stuff, THANKS CHASE, I LOVE YOU!!

What have we been up to.....

Well not only have we been on the road a ton these last two weeks but it only looks like the next couple of months are going to be just as busy!

After Tax Season we decided that we needed a get away. With short notice we just planned a quick trip to Las Vegas!

So the trip started with OF COURSE a round of golf (with Chase's work). Every year they have a "celebrate the Sun Day" after tax season and it so happened to be the weekend of our get away. So it all started with golf....

Now the whole time we were planning this trip Chase kept talking about how he wanted to go on the Dam Tour! I thought..... well I don't know are you sure??? But after he spoiled me tons I figured this was his weekend too, you know he's been the one working his butt off. Making a long story short with how the Dam Tour went (the bus driver was kind of a ditz & forgot a couple stops so our tour was 8 hours instead of 4) all that matters is that it was actually interesting and Chase had a lot of fun! The only bummer is that all he wanted was a Dam T-Shirt and they didn't have his size!! I just love this guy, he is always making me laugh!!

A Great Grandma that is still alive.....

Well unfortunately mine passed away this last week at age 92! It's crazy to think that there were 5 generations alive. But anyways she passed away from old age and I am sure she is super happy to see my great grandpa again!

On the way home we were able to go meet up with Chase's best friend, Luke and play some golf!! If you don't know Chase you will find out shortly that we don't go anywhere without golfing!! You should all be proud to know that my mom & I actually played too. My mom is getting way into this sport and Chase is loving that. I got pink golf clubs our first Christmas and haven't put them to a whole lot of use.... but I promised Chase I would this year! So wish me luck!

It's official.....

Todd & Staci are married & on their honeymoon!!!

Todd is officially married and that means we have another sister-in-law, YEAH!! They got married May 15, 2009 at the Entrada Golf Course in St. George!
