Happy Valentines
and
a Christensen Update

We had a busy and fun Valentines Day.  We made yummy sugar cookies and valentines and visited lots of neighbors and friends.  We then had a yummy valentines dinner at Grandma Chris's and celebrated uncle Jake's birthday that's coming up.

What else have the Christensen's been up to?
We are still living in a condo that we are renting.  We lucked out and found a great rental considering what Delta has to offer and feel very blessed.  We're still excited about Chase's new job and all that it continues to offer him and our family.  There's a lot of potential with it and he's super happy.  We really enjoy being so close to family!  I am working at the Dolly Rocker Salon and Spa (the salon that Greg, my brother and his wife Randie just recently bought) I work about 2 days a week and am really enjoying it.  We also just opened a gym.  We were so sad about leaving our crossfit gym in Cedar City that we decided to do our own thing in Delta.  It is a crossfit gym but we aren't affiliates yet so we can't use the crossfit name.  We are calling it, "DeltaFIT."  I train in the mornings at 5, 6 and 7 am.  Chase trains in the evening at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 pm.  We are so excited about this new adventure!  We are definitely VERY busy.  We are limited on space and had to stop taking people in and start a waiting list.  We didn't know what to expect so this made us very happy.  We had 24 people sign up the first week!  We both just got callings as well.... Chase is a sunday school teacher for the 13/14 year olds and I am in the Young Womens as the Beehive advisor.  Chloe and Kinley are loving being close to family that they see daily.  They are such easy and busy girls that keep us smiling and on our toes.  They enjoy every minute they can be outside and look forward to the warmer weather.  We're not sure when and where will make our permanent living.... In Delta, Sutherland, the golf course..... just not sure.  Guess we'll see when that time comes.

Happy 30th Birthday

CHASE!!!!

The girls and I tried to make the day super special for Chase.  We visited him at work, surprised him with all his favorite treats and more balloons. Got him his new favorite cologne. Decorated his door with the top 30 reason why we love our dad.  We love him so much and all that he does and hope that he'll always remember that!!!

Started the morning off with Chase's favorite breakfast that consists of pancakes, eggs and bacon.

Little did he know that we would be surprising him at work.  He wasn't too thrilled about his birthday hat but he smiled anyway.

His birthday cake that I made for his work.

The girls couldn't wait for daddy to get home to celebrate some more!!

As soon as he got home we walked across the street and ate at the yummy Mexican restaurant with our families.  The little house on the top right is where we live.

We then ended up back at our house for more cake and ice cream with both of our families

Happy Birthday Chloe Bear!!!

Chloe turns 3

We started the morning off with streamers, balloons and fancy pancakes with sprinkles.

For her morning gift she got a fairy dress, fairy movie and strawberry shortcake coloring book.
After a fun day of playing we went to dinner at McDonalds (birthday girls request) and then went back home for cake and ice cream with family.
Chloe got her own bike with all the accessories
She got hooked up with her tag reader supplies

Chloe requested this yummy chocolate cake that's become a family favorite these last couple of months.  We were all pretty excited because it's super delish.

We can't forget about the other dress-ups that she got... she's officially hooked up with the wardrobe

I love this picture it truly describes our Chloe.
She is such a sweet girl that has so much love.
She has so much love for her family!!  She LOVES her daddy, sister, grandma's, grandpas, cousins and aunts and uncles.... you name it.  She's always asking about them and when she can see them again.
She loves to dance
She loves Dora (too much:))
She prefers to wear skirts or flowy shirts and they are all referred to as "tutu's"
She'd rather not wear socks and shoes (she rips them off her feet so fast when she gets into anybody's home)
She loves to go to church
She loves to comfort and help her little sister with loves or by singing her songs and getting her things that she can't reach.
She has an amazing memory
She LOVES Books and going to the library
She loves to be outside as much as possible to either ride her bike or swing
She enjoys coloring, painting, gluing and blowing bubbles
She's a picky eater.  She'll eat most breakfast foods and then chicken and mac n' cheese. I can't even bribe her with candy.  She hates fruit snacks and all the fun things kids usually eat for treats/snacks.
She would drink Milk all day long if she could
Besides Dora she loves all of the princesses right now
She's usually a very good listener and will clean up most all the time
She's very spoiled at the same and has her tantrums when she's tired and hungry

We LOVE you CHLOE and everything you bring to our family!!!!!

January Fun!!!

On Grandma Bailey's birthday we went shopping with her...
the strollers at RC Willey were such a hit.

While Chloe fell asleep at the mall, Kinley enjoyed her own carousel ride.

Kinley is OBSESSED with playing in my bathroom cupboard.
She goes straight for the lotion....
at least she smells good when I don't get there fast enough

Chloe loves having her cousin Drew over as much as possible.
They are becoming the best of friends.

Mommy and Chloe doing some shopping and trying out the newest trends

Once again the girls are doing each others hair.  They have become such the best of friends and I love it.  I hope that they will always be so close.

Moms photo shoot.
Chloe is turning three soon and Kinley is almost 19 months.  They are so different but so stinking cute.  They are my life and I can't imagine our lives without these two princesses.

I love how it starts with great smiles then fun kisses, sweet hugs and then straight to the wrestling on the ground (daddy taught them well:)) and then back to their fun peek-a-boo game and then their ballerina dancing.  These two keep me on my toes and there is never a dull moment.  I love you Chloe and Kinley!!

Christmas 2012

So many fun things going on during the holidays.  We were so happy to be with our families.  It was crazy to actually be living in Delta and not having to worry about driving home to Cedar City.  We started the holidays off with several visits to see Santa Clause.  We met up with all of the cousins in St. George and paid Santa a visit.

Got to love these girls... especially when Kinley puts her hands down her pants:)

All 6 granddaughters with Grandpa and Grandma

Facetiming Uncle Todd.... I just loved Kinley's little smile

I just love it when I come out and see the girls playing and doing each others hair

Visited Santa again at the new Pharmacy in town

Christmas Eve

Santa came and visited Grandma Chris's house on Christmas Eve.
We also had a little "Cindy Lou Who" of our own.  This was at the end of the day when it's all falling out.  It turned out pretty cute!!

Playing Christmas games, and we lost:(

Kinley finding herself content like usual in the grandmas play corner

Kinley's turn with Santa.  She does so good with him, never once flinched

Chloe had so much fun playing games with us too.
I was surprised how well she could stack the cups!!

Girls got "nap mats" from Grandma and they were a hit.

More of cute Kinley

Christmas Morning

I loved Chloe's facial expression when she woke up and saw what Santa brought her.  We had to wake them up so it took her a minute to think about what was going on.

The kitchen was quite a hit and same with the princesses and puzzles and more.  She didn't know where to start cause she was so excited.

The girls were so much fun.
I love being a parent during the holidays.... it's so fun to see your kids so excited!!

Grandma's house on Christmas Day!!

The girls loved their strollers they got from grandma and grandpa

Our cute little family!!
Our gingerbread house for the year.... such a fun tradition!!
Kinley being her mischievous self.... she's either hiding or just up to something.  She always has the cutest little smile on her face that's all I know:)
Sledding the day after with cousin Sienna
I couldn't believe how tough these girls are.  They literally had snow on their eyelashes.  The snow from the snowmobile kept pushing the snow to the girls.  They were such troopers!! They had so much fun and LOVE their cousin Sienna!!
